About the Exam

  1. Exam fee must be paid within the application period. The deposited fees are checked daily by the relevant bank. Applications for which the fee is not paid or incompletely deposited will not be approved.
  2. The VAN YYU YÖS 2021 result can only be used for applying for the quotas of Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs.
  3. VAN YYÜ YÖS consists of a total of 80 questions, “Mathematics and General Ability Test”, and is held in a single session of 120 minutes.
  4. The International Relations Office (UİK) reserves the right to change the date of the exam and places of exam centres.
  5. VAN YYU YÖS exam results are valid until the last calendar day of the exam year.
  6. Only Turkish and / or English languages ??are used for official communications between UİK and candidates. Unless otherwise required, all communication is done via e-mail. UİK is not responsible for delays or lost e-mails.
  7. The exam fee determined by the VAN YYU Administration Council and Senate is deposited to the relevant bank on the announced dates.
  8. In case of exam cancellation, change of exam venue, invalid application, wrong or more than one payment, the exam fee can be refunded upon the request of the candidates during the exam application process. The exam fee cannot be transferred to the following years.
  9. The exam fee paid by the candidates who did not take or could not take the exam for any reason, were not taken to the exam for any reason or was dismissed, and whose exam was deemed invalid, will not be refunded.
  10. VAN YYÜ YÖS applications from Turkey and abroad will be made through the web address determined by Computer Science Research and Application Centre (BBAUM) and announced by UİK. All applications made by other means will be considered invalid.
  11. For the candidates whose applications are approved, the system automatically issues "VAN YYÜ YÖS Exam Entry Document" with a photo and QR code. "Candidate Number", "Name-Surname", "Exam Centre", "Exam Date" and "Exam Time" will be stated on the exam entrance document.
  12. Candidates whose applications are approved can download their exam entry documents from the system and print them out.
  13. It is obligatory for the applicants to bring their Examination Entrance Document and at least one of the identity documents; Valid Passport / Identity Card (ID) with Official Validity in the Relevant Country (Turkey) / T.C. ID Card / Blue Card (Old Pink Card). Candidates who do not bring all the required documents with them will not be admitted to the exam.
  14. The information in which hall and desk the candidates will take the exam will be stated on the exam entrance document.
  15. Candidates cannot take the exam in a hall other than the hall specified in the exam entrance documents. However, the Building Exam Supervisor has the right to make changes in the exam halls if he/she deems it necessary.
  16. Exam results will be announced on the specified date through the VAN YYU YÖS application system. Candidates will be able to see their exam results when they log into the system with their current password.
  17. A "VAN YYU YÖS Exam Result Document" with a QR code is issued by the system for candidates. Objection to the exam result is made via the button on the page where the results are announced on the application system.
  18. Candidates can object to the exam results within the dates specified in the calendar announced. Objection to the exam result is made via the button on the page where the results are announced on the application system.
