Registration
Applications should only be made in accordance with the Van Yüzüncü Yıl University Associate Degree and Undergraduate Programs, International Student Application Admission and Registration Instruction. Please click to access the Instruction.
Registration:
Registrations are made by Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, Student Affairs Office on the announced dates.
Important 1) Registration is made by the Registrar's Office between the announced registration dates, upon the application of the candidate in person or submitting the documents requested by the representative appointed by the notary public. If the candidate does not complete the final registration within the announced period, he/she loses his/her right to enroll in the graduate program.
Important 2) Students who have the right to final registration must submit the notarized Turkish translations of the requested documents during the final registration process. If the Turkish translation of any of the requested documents is missing, the student will not be registered.
Important 3) The candidates who declarated that they have a dual citizenship, having completed high school education in Turkey and having their first nationality from other than Turkey must document these declarations during registration. Otherwise, the final registration will not be made.
Important 4) The candidates who will apply to the Faculty of Education, English Language Teaching Program and the Faculty of Literature, English Language Literature and American Culture and Literature departments must have received the points of CPE (C and above), CAE (A), TOEFL IBT (96 and above), PTE Academic (78 and above). Candidates who do not have the mentioned scores are subject to the Van YYU Foreign Languages regulation. Language scores have no effect on the entry score calculation.

- The original high school diploma and its Turkish translation approved by Notary Public or Turkish Foreign Representatives,
- A transcript showing the high school graduation GPA (transcript) (its Turkish translation approved by Notary Public or Turkish Foreign Representatives),
- The original of the "Equivalence Certificate", which shows that the candidates' high school diplomas are equivalent to the diplomas obtained from Turkish high schools and to be obtained from the Ministry of National Education (Education Attaché) or the Turkish Embassy (Educational Consultancy) in their country,
- Passport/ Identity Card with Official Validity in the Relevant Country (Turkey) / T.C. ID Card / Blue Card documents with certified or. Turkish copy approved by T.C. Embassy or Consulate,
- The original copy of the YÖS Exam Result Document,
- Approved Turkish copy of the Student Visa to be obtained from Foreign Representatives
- 6 passport size photos: The photos must have been taken within the last 6 months,
- A copy of the residence permit (Foreign candidates, who are obliged to apply to the Provincial Immigration Administration and obtain a residence permit after registration, must submit a copy of the residence permit),
- Bank receipt showing that the university tuition fee has been paid,
- Copy of Identity Number statement or Identity Card from the candidates with citizenship of Republic of Turkey,
- A document approved by the official authorities regarding the military service status of male candidates with citizenship of Republic of Turkey,
- The original of the GCE AL exam result document of the KKTC national candidates who have completed their entire secondary education in KKTC high schools.
- Turkish Proficiency Certificate (Candidates who do not have this document will be directed to TÖMER).
- Original or certified copy of the English proficiency test result (For departments whose language of instruction is English)
